September Opportunity to Serve

donate_picture_1.png

We will be creating care-packets for the homeless. We will also collect McDonalds gift cards.

Items needed are socks, band-aids, deodorant, chewable multi vitamins, chapstick, lotion, sunscreen, tissues, toothbrush, toothpaste, and wet wipes. Food items include beef jerky, breakfast bars, mints, peanut butter crackers, tuna packets, and water.
Please make sure they are travel size!

Please place your items in the basket in the Gathering Space. We will create care packets in early October by placing these items in gallon zip lock bags to distribute to the homeless. Church members are invited to keep these in their car and distribute when needed. McDonalds gift cards will be held in the church office and distributed to the homeless that come in looking for help.

Manna Food Bank

Manna needs our help!  Spring and Summer collections have fallen short to feed the large number of hungry in Pensacola. Donations of non-perishable food is greatly appreciated. There is a collection bucket in the main walk-way.

Thank you for your generous support!

GSUMC is putting a team together to serve lunch to the homeless each Monday at PUMCM. They will supply the food, we will supply the man-power to cook and serve. If you would like to be a part of this team or want additional information, please see Donna Pruett.

PUMCM Needs Your Help!

Toss in Towels

Bring any and all towels (slightly used or new) to help stock the shelves of Pensacola United Community Ministries, Favor House and Camp Happy Sands. Also, as you travel, collect the unopened soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. (each mornings of your stay clear the counter of these and you will be supplied with a new set for the next day). Bring all that you don’t use and place in the containers in the front hall.
