Hospitality

Welcome to the neighborhood, we are here for you!

All visitors to our worship service will receive a loaf of fresh baked bread to take home to enjoy!

Special Guests

10 students from Ohio State University will be arriving later today and staying here at Gadsden Street for a week as they generously volunteer their winter break with our local Habitat for Humanity! Help us to show them radical hospitality.

If you’d like to help provide snacks and goodies, you may bring them to the church office. Thank you!

East Hill Neighbors

We connect regularly with our neighbors here in East Hill.  We regularly visit our neighbors and welcome new neighbors with gifts of honey.

For more information about our hospitality ministry, please contact Alice McKinney (mckinneya102@gmail.com)

Visiting in Person

Our VIP “Visiting in Person” team regularly visits our church members who, for whatever reason, are unable to attend worship here at the church.

Sunday Morning

Feed the Flock

Our Sunday morning “Feed the Flock” ministry has been delicious! Thank you to all those that have brought goodies for our fellowship time. If you would like to be part of a rotation for this ministry by bringing goodies (muffins, fruit, pastries…) once every 3 months or so, please contact Alice McKinney or the church office. Coffee supplies will be available as well.

Lawn Care

In March, GSUMC hired a new lawn care company, and they are doing a wonderful job! This expense was not included in our 2018 budget. If you would like to help by sponsoring a month of lawn care ($450/mo) please let the church office know. Thank you for your generosity!
