10:00 AM Sunday Services - Pardon Our Progress
Every Sunday morning, we gather for worship in the Fellowship Hall at 10:00 AM while our beautiful sanctuary is receiving termite repairs. Regardless of where we gather, we offer a welcoming, compassionate space where all are welcome. We believe in the UMC promise and call to be a space with “Open Hearts. Open Minds. Open Doors”.
Our service leans more on the traditional side in our liturgy and order of worship. This means that we say the Lord’s Prayer, we affirm our faith through the various United Methodist Creeds, and we lift a joyful noise with hymns from the United Methodist Hymnal and beyond. We are grounded in Scripture and come to understand our Christian faith and practice through tradition, personal experience, and reason. We believe in encountering the living God when we gather for worship as the body of Christ.
Attire typically varies from business formal to casual; however, all are welcome and are encouraged to come as they are, formal or casual. Children are welcome in our services. Currently, we are working towards building a children’s program and a youth program so that people of all ages can encounter the love of Christ here at Gadsden Street United Methodist Church.
