Each month we intentionally reach out to our neighbors and friends with love as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

Monthly Opportunity to Serve

The Ark, a United Methodist homeless ministry in Panama City Beach, provides mission teams, including ours recently, with meals and lodging during their stay. The Ark asks only for donations to help offset the costs of these mission teams. If you would like to help, please place your donation in the offering plate. Please be sure to indicate Panama City Mission Team on your donation. We have collected $290 so far for The Ark. Thank you for your generosity!

Early Response Team (ERT) Training

Do you want to help with hurricane recovery? One way is to become ERT Certified. Early Response Teams (ERTs) fill a specific need in the early days after a disaster to clean out flood-damaged homes, remove debris, place tarps on homes, and otherwise help to prevent further damage while providing a caring Christian presence. Early response training covers the basics of early disaster response, including roof tarping, spiritual and emotional care, team protocols, and more. ERT Training will be held at 2 locations near us in the coming weeks: February 23 at Navarre UMC and March 2 at FUMC. Contact the church office for more information.
